“It is important to us to do more for the environment than is required by law. This is the only way we can feel good!” explains Günther Schmid, Managing Director and founder of SystemKosmetik. “That’s why we started working with the municipality of Münster am Lech 10 years ago to pre-treat the wastewater produced in our production process using a special flotation process so that the municipal sewage treatment plant can work with it. We also act as a buffer for the sewage treatment plant.”
SystemKosmetik GmbH needs a reliable and flexible financing solution in order to realise its extensive sustainability projects and continue to drive its corporate growth. Financial independence from banks is crucial in order to be able to continuously invest in innovative technologies such as the flotation process for wastewater treatment. “We are more of a manufactory than an industry and work according to the principle “There’s no such thing as impossible!”. For us, the focus is on the solution – regardless of whether we are producing for a large discounter or a small cosmetics laboratory. For this reason, we also have our own quality control laboratory in which all raw materials are carefully analysed,” adds Stefan Bawidamann.
