A.B.S. Factoring AG was founded in 2003 and has developed into the market leader for B2B factoring in Switzerland within 20 years. A.B.S. Factoring AG now employs around 8 people at its headquarters in Altendorf. Thanks to the international network of our parent company, A.B.S. Global Factoring AG, and our own many years of experience in financing SMEs, A.B.S. Factoring AG can offer fast, flexible and customer-orientated financing solutions and thus compete successfully with the major factoring providers on the market.

The milestones of our success
We have been supporting Swiss SMEs with our customised financing solutions for many years. We have also continued to develop ourselves.
2024
- A.B.S. Factoring AG takes over part of the customer base of a major bank and establishes itself as the market leader in B2B factoring in Switzerland. Managing Director Marc Meier is elected President of the Swiss Factoring Association.
2022
- Move to new office premises in Altendorf, Canton Schwyz
2021
- Evelyne Knutti takes over as Deputy Managing Director. Stephanie Honegger is leaving A.B.S. Factoring AG.
2019
- A.B.S. Factoring AG launches quickpaid, a fast and uncomplicated product for purchase financing.
2018
- M KMU Factoring AG is changing its name and image and will now operate on the market as A.B.S. Factoring AG. The name change is intended to strengthen the connection to the parent company as well as the perception of the A.B.S. brand.
- Marc Meier takes over the management. Stephanie Honegger and Evelyne Knutti will remain on the Executive Board.
2017
- Factoring Schweiz AG sells its minority stake in the company to A.B.S. Global Factoring AG. The latter is now the sole shareholder and parent company of KMU Factoring AG.
- Stephanie Honegger and Evelyne Knutti take over the management of the company as co-managers, each with a 50 per cent share. Marc Meier joins the Executive Board as their deputy.
2016
- KMU Factoring AG acquires new sister companies in Austria and Slovenia. A.B.S. Global Factoring AG takes over VB Factoring Bank AG and its subsidiary Eurincasso GmbH in Austria and Afactor d.o.o in Slovenia.
2015
- Move to larger office premises within Pfäffikon SZ.
2013
- Acquisition of SWIFAC Swiss Factoring AG and merger with the same. Foundation of the sister company A.B.S. Global Factoring AB in Sweden, which serves the Scandinavian market from Stockholm.
2012
- KMU Factoring AG develops into the largest owner-managed and bank-independent factoring provider in Switzerland.
2011
- Partnership with A.B.S. Global Factoring AG in Wiesbaden, the largest bank-independent factoring provider in Germany. A.B.S. Global Factoring AG acquires a majority stake in KMU Factoring AG and provides financing lines, IT support and other operational services to support KMU Factoring AG on its growth path.
2010
- Move of KMU Factoring AG to Pfäffikon SZ.
2009
- Takeover of KMU Factoring AG by Factoring Schweiz AG.
2003
- Foundation of A.B.S. Factoring AG under the previous name KMU Factoring AG in Altendorf SZ.

How we generally behave: respectfully - towards people and the environment
We want to treat our natural environment with the same respect that we treat each other. After all, the wasteful use of resources is the reason for the scarcity of water and soil, minerals and metals, etc. Working paperless was therefore a particular concern for us from the very beginning. Otherwise, we would have had to plan for as much archive space as office space.
